Where does Real Salt Wasatch Steak Seasoning’s name come from?

Our headquarters are in Wasatch County, Utah.

We named our seasoning “Wasatch Steak” because we’re located in Wasatch County and we wanted to give a nod to the story behind Montreal Steak®. Montreal Steak got its name from a Jewish deli that used pickling spice to season their steaks. It was a big hit with locals, and it got its name from the fact that the deli was located in Montreal.
