What size turkey can be brined with the Real Salt Brine Kit?

One kit can brine up to 18 lbs. of meat.

The Real Salt Brine Kit makes 6 quarts of brine, enough to brine 12-18 lbs. of protein.

For smaller proteins, 6-8 lbs., use half of the water and half of the kit's contents to make a half batch.   

If you’re brining protein that weighs more than 18 lbs. (like an extra big Thanksgiving turkey), we recommend using two kits.

Just be sure that whatever you’re brining is totally covered with the brine.
