A popular addition to Mediterranean cuisine, rosemary has a fresh, piney taste that can elevate a lot of dishes (not just your favorite Mediterranean chicken recipe). We’ve included it in our barbecue and steak seasoning blends because we think it adds a little something special to grilled meats (but it’s great on veggies too).
Rosemary comes from an evergreen shrub that’s a member of the Lamiaceae family, which also includes mint, oregano, thyme, basil, and lavender. It’s high in antioxidants, which gives it a wide range of health benefits and makes it a nutritious, flavorful addition to any spice rack.
We take great care in sourcing organic spices from companies that adhere to strict USDA federal regulations for organic food-grade products, and that includes our rosemary. The rosemary we use is also non-GMO and kosher-certified.
