What does the L-leucine in Re-Lyte Pre-Workout do?

L-leucine is a branched-chain amino acid (BCAA) that helps build and repair muscles.

L-leucine is a branched-chain amino acid (BCAA) that supports healthy muscles. The body can't produce this amino acid on its own, which is why it's important to get plenty of L-leucine from foods like cheese, meat, fish, seeds, nuts, and beans and supplements like Re-Lyte Pre-Workout.

L-leucine performs a number of important functions in your body. Research shows that L-leucine can improve the body's creation of muscle protein. There's also evidence that it may be the most important BCAA when it comes to supporting exercise recovery and protecting the muscles from damage.

L-leucine is involved in the body's production of the appetite hormone leptin as well, which has a significant impact on weight control, blood glucose, and appetite.

In addition to L-leucine, Re-Lyte Pre-Workout contains the BCAAs L-valine and L-isoleucine. These three amino acids work together to aid overall muscle health and support your muscles against damage or injury.

The BCAAs we use in Re-Lyte Pre-Workout come from plant rather than animal sources, so they're vegan-friendly.
