How is Apple Pecan Smoked Salt made?

It’s made by smoking our ancient sea salt over a blend of apple and pecan wood for 30 hours using an all-wood smoking process.

Apple Pecan Smoked Real Salt is made by smoking our ancient sea salt over a blend of apple and pecan wood for 30 hours. All of our smoked salts are made with a clean and healthy all-wood smoking process (no other fuel source like gas is used to keep the fire going). The wood used for smoking is never treated and is sustainably sourced (as trees are removed, more are planted for future regrowth).

All Smoked Redmond Real Salt varieties are smoked with blue smoke at 130 degrees Fahrenheit. No chemicals are used during the smoking process and no artificial ingredients are added after. Smoked Redmond Real Salt is simply smoked Real Salt, without any liquid smoke, artificial flavors, or artificial colors.
