Turmeric is linked to a wide variety of health benefits, from oral health to joint health to immune health.
Turmeric is linked to a wide variety of health benefits, from oral health to joint health to immune health. It's also one of the most widely researched nutritional supplements available to us. That's why we included it in Re-Lyte Immunity.
At its root (ha!), turmeric belongs to the ginger family. Similar to ginger, it has anti-inflammatory properties and contains curcuminoid compounds. One of those compounds is called curcumin. Curcumin is also what gives turmeric its signature yellow color and many of its health benefits.
When it comes to immune health, curcumin is a proven immune modulator, impacting the function of a wide variety of immune cells.
Curcumin is also a proven anti-inflammatory compound. Anti-inflammatory substances have been credited for supporting healthy, mobile joints, as well as many other health benefits. In fact, for many years, turmeric has been promoted as a helpful supplement for oral health, allergies, digestive disorders, respiratory infections, arthritis, and more.
When we were developing Re-Lyte Immunity, we paid special attention to antioxidant-rich ingredients like turmeric, elderberry, ginger root, and vitamin C. Substances like these work to combat oxidative stress and keep you feeling your best.
